The art of breastfeeding

This is a Philips Avent sponsored post.

It’s kind of wonderful to know that my generation is really embracing the act of breastfeeding our children. I’m not saying that the previous generation was wrong in feeding their kids formula. But dude they were wrong.

There’s no reason for you not to research and learn about breastfeeding. That’s one thing we have that our parents didn’t have – the internets. After all, how can you decide if breastfeeding or formula milk is for you if you don’t get all the information? Enlighten yourselves. Only then can you make an informed and responsible decision.

If you do decide to breastfeed your child, I applaud and support you and your family’s decision. I know how hard it can be. Hang in there. It’s worth it.

To celebrate your breastfeeding journey, Philips Avent together with the Philippine Pediatric Society and SM Cares and some other people I’m sure, put up an art exhibit for Breastfeeding Week.

The artists featured are Ms. Khristina Manansala and Raks Molata and yes she’s the granddaughter of that Manansala. It runs from August 2 – 8, at Level 1 Atrium of SM Aura BGC.

Remember these faces! Cuz I don't.

My wife uses Avent products like the Natural bottles and electric breast pump. She swears by them and it makes the difficult task of breastfeeding much easier. They’re just really well made, well-designed and easy to use products that are super safe for the kids.

And when it’s something for the kids, don’t you want the best quality stuff? I mean, that’s why you’re breastfeeding right?

BOOM.
